About The Artist

Vilija Razmaite was born in 1969 in Lithuania. Vilija had an interest in arts since she was a kid. She grew up surrounded by nature which was very familiar to her. Therefore, nature with certain abstract aspects can be found in her art.  

Vilija finds insipiration in nature, travelling as well as analysis of philosophy and psychology. Her painting style is expressive, bold and free which lets viewers to create their own interpretation.

She has been actively involved in the art industry since 1992 where she graduated Arts and painting in pedagogical university in Lithuania. 

The artists made more than 200 paintings, few frescoes, wall mosaics and scenic decorations. Most of the art work is in private collections, museums, hotels, offices and other places all over the world: USA, Lithuania, Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands, UK, Ireland, etc. 

Vilija Razmaite has had six personal exhibitions:

1. First exhibition in 1992 Lithuania
2. Second  exhibition in 1997 Lithuania
3. Third exhibition in  2000 Lithuania
4. Fourth exhibition in 2006 Lithuania
5. Firth exhibition in 2007 Lithuania
6. Sixth exhibition in 2020 Sweden

Vilija participated in 12 collective exhibitions as well.

Vilija is currently living and creating in Sweden.
